I am a lifelong Northside resident of Chicago. The novel is based on a screenplay I wrote several years ago. It had been sitting on a shelf until this past year, when I decided to turn it into a novel with the help of two excellent editors. Although I am not a trained writer, I love the art of storytelling, and hopefully you enjoy the story.
